Though I have resisted doing this journal, I have found value in the patterns I’m seeing. For example, I didn’t eat as frequently during this period which is not good. The old habit of eating two or three times a day, but eating plenty is not going to get me to the goal.
Also, on the days that I do transcription, I do not eat as well. I seem to look for quick stuff I can throw into me regardless of nutritional value and then get back to the keyboard.
I also eat better when the little boy boys are here because I’m meal planning for them so I take the time to plan for myself as well.
As you can see I like my bread. Of course I prefer my homemade bread over any brand of store bought bread all day long, but it’s too hot to get the oven going. Unless I want to start it at 4:00 AM in the morning (which I don’t) when four hours later it’s ready to bake, I’ll resort to the purchase of store bought bread until the temps get down at least into the 70s.
Little boy boys are due around Noon. Time to go shopping!

I follow Weight Watchers and also keep a food journal. I keep track of everything on my cell phone. Writing everything down can be a pain but in the long run it’s definitely worth the effort.
